Vegas is an ex show dog who was given to her previous owner by the breeder when  her show career was over.  When her owner died the family did not want to keep her.  Someone did an awful botched sheardown of her coat = it is starting to come back in beautifully and as you can see she is a very pretty dog.

Message from her foster mother

"Vegas is a sweet girl.  It is obvious that, due to her past, she didn't have much of a puppyhood and as a mature girl is trying to make up for her lost youth.  We are working with her and we see improvement every day.  Vegas was shaved down right before she came to Heartland and her coat is slowly growing back.  I imagine she will have a beautiful blond coat once it finally fully grown back. She sure has learned what treats are and we are working on sit.  She is a lovebug and craves attention.  It seems that she gets into her puppyhood state when she is bored and not getting the human attention she wants at that time.  She will make a wonderful companion for her new family."
